Background & Objectives
This personal exploration poster was created to commemorate Eid Al-Adha by portraying the religious and emotional symbolism behind animal sacrifice in a visually poetic way. The challenge was to communicate the gravity and serenity of the occasion using bold conceptual imagery and a surreal setting.
Exploration
I experimented with surrealism as the central visual direction. The idea was to place sacrificial animals (a cow and a goat) walking toward a floating mosque — a metaphorical representation of devotion and sacrifice. The floating island, space backdrop, and ethereal lighting were all used to evoke a sense of elevation, both spiritual and visual.

Execution
The design was executed using Adobe Photoshop with multiple layer techniques including image compositing, custom lighting effects, shadow adjustments, and color grading to create depth and otherworldly atmosphere. The typography was designed to contrast between elegant Arabic-style strokes and bold modern sans-serif fonts to reflect both tradition and modernity.
