Project Overview

BACKGROUND

Jakarta X Beauty (JXB) is one of the largest beauty events in Indonesia, bringing together numerous local and international beauty brands within a highly competitive exhibition environment. For Seung Tae, participating in JXB became an important milestone as a growing brand preparing to expand its audience reach through direct offline engagement.

OBJECTIVES

The main objective was to strengthen brand awareness and create a memorable booth experience through cohesive visual communication across both digital and physical touchpoints.

CHALLENGE

As a new and relatively emerging brand, Seung Tae faced the challenge of competing visually with well-established beauty brands that already had strong market presence and loyal audiences.

The project required creating eye-catching visuals across multiple touchpoints, including social media countdown content, booth visuals, banners, and supporting collaterals to attract visitors, encourage exploration, and communicate the brand identity effectively within a limited interaction window.

Exploration

The visual exploration focused on balancing clean premium aesthetics with high visibility suitable for an exhibition environment. Layout compositions, material applications, and display arrangements were carefully considered to ensure the booth remained visually attractive while maintaining clear product communication and brand consistency.

Execution

In the execution phase, I led the development of the visual direction for Seung Tae x Jakarta X Beauty, starting from the core Key Visual and translating it into a cohesive visual system applied across multiple touchpoints.

Key Visual Development

The key visuals were designed to establish a strong and recognizable presence throughout the event, combining premium aesthetics with clear promotional communication tailored for offline audience engagement.


Social Media Adaptation

Event visuals were adapted into social media assets to support pre-event promotion, audience engagement, and brand consistency across digital platforms before and during the activation period.

On-Ground Collateral

Various event collaterals were developed to support both branding and product communication within the booth environment, including T-banners, product display signage, flyers, product booklets, and . Each element was designed to maintain visual consistency while improving visitor navigation and product visibility.

Merchandise

Custom merchandise were designed to complement Seung Tae’s premium brand identity while enhancing visitor engagement during booth activation activities.


Brand Experience

Beyond designing visual assets, I was also directly involved in the on-ground activation throughout the 4-day event, engaging with visitors through games, product distribution, and booth interactions. This experience provided valuable insight into audience behavior and how visual presentation influences real-time brand engagement within an offline retail environment.
