E-Commerce Coffee Table Scene Creation

A digital imaging project to explore realistic coffee table visuals for e-commerce use.

Year :

2024

Industry :

Furniture

Client :

Poster

Project Duration :

Adobe Photoshop

Background & Objectives

This personal project explores how far product visual appeal can be elevated through digital imaging. The objective was to create e-commerce-ready visuals of a coffee table in an American-style interior, despite having only a plain product photo as a base.

Exploration

I explored multiple visual directions, focusing on how lighting and layout influence perceived product quality. Several visual references were used, including premium home & furniture brands. Key considerations included ambient lighting, texture harmony, and storytelling through the scene.

Execution

The final result consists of two deliverables: a square layout and a banner layout. All scenes were manually built using Adobe Photoshop with a layer-by-layer technique — including base color correction, background compositing, shadow casting, lighting enhancements, and subtle detailing like lens blur and depth layering.

Impact

This was a personal exploration project, so there was no client-side impact. However, it strengthened my skills in photo manipulation, realistic lighting simulation, and scene-building for commercial purposes.
